Privacy Policy
Effective November 6, 2026. Trial Armor is a product of Bad Esse Inc., Guelph, Ontario, Canada. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. What we collect today
- Waitlist and contact: your email address when you join the waitlist or write to us.
- Demo app data: the card labels, amounts, statuses, and plan preferences you create in the demo app, stored so the demo works. No real payment card numbers are collected: demo cards use simulated numbers only.
- Technical data: basic, non-identifying usage information such as browser type.
2. What we collect when real cards launch
Issuing real cards requires identity verification ("know your customer") under our issuing partner's requirements: typically your name, date of birth, address, and government-issued identification. Transaction data on your single-use cards is processed to operate the cards. We will present a full notice covering this before any real card is issued.
3. Why we use it
To provide and improve the service, to keep accounts secure, to communicate with you about the product, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Where it lives
Data is stored with hosted service providers and may be processed in Canada and the United States. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
5. Local storage
The app stores your plan preference in your own browser using local storage. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
6. Your rights
Under PIPEDA you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or withdraw consent (which may end the service). Email hello@trialarmor.de. If we cannot resolve a concern, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
7. Changes
We will update this policy as the product develops and post changes on this page with a new effective date.
