Terms of Service
Effective November 6, 2026. Trial Armor is a product of Bad Esse Inc., Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
1. What the service is
Trial Armor provides single-use cards: a card created for one purchase that closes automatically after its first successful charge, so a free trial can never quietly turn into a recurring renewal.
The service is in development. The app and website you see today are a working demo: transactions are simulated, no real cards are issued, and no real money moves. These terms apply to your use of the website and demo app. When live single-use cards launch, they will be issued by a licensed Canadian financial institution acting as issuing partner, and the terms covering real cards and fees will be presented to you before you create a real card.
2. Using the service
- You must provide accurate information when you join the waitlist or create an account, and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You agree not to use Trial Armor, or any card issued through it once live, for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Fees
Demo use is free. When real cards launch, fees (per-card fees and, if you choose one, subscription plans) will be shown in the app before you confirm any charge. Fees are only payable for real cards, never for demo use.
4. Real cards, disputes and refunds
Once live, purchases made with a single-use card are governed by the issuing partner's cardholder agreement and the applicable card network rules. Merchants may not charge a closed card; where a merchant has refunded a charge on a card that has since closed, refunds are routed through the issuing partner in the normal way. Questions about a specific transaction can go to us at hello@trialarmor.de and we will route them to the issuing partner.
5. Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of it. To the extent permitted by Ontario law, Bad Esse Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
6. Closing your account
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and data at hello@trialarmor.de. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and waitlist members and account holders will be notified by email.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
